Inertial Motion Capture

Wearable inertial sensors to measure, analyze and render character motion in real time.

SensorsReal-time SystemsIoT

Overview

An innovative platform that uses wearable devices powered by inertial sensors to measure, analyze and render the movement of the user in real time. Developed in partnership with Nahui Tecnologia y Desarrollo, a Mexican technology startup, as part of the NIMU project — a motion analysis platform that uses inertial sensors and IoT for biomedical applications.

Features

  • Real-time rendering — Sensor fusion for orientation and acceleration displayed in interactive graphs and kinematic body models
  • Session recording — Play, pause, and record sessions to compare motion pattern improvements
  • Completely wireless — WiFi connectivity with multi-device support
