LOOP

Wearable designed to reduce unwanted auditive stimuli for people with auditory hypersensitivity.

Wearable DesignHardwareAudio Processing

Less noise, more sound

LOOP uses advanced control algorithms and digital signal processing to reduce background noise while enhancing nearby voices. It was developed during Tecnologico de Monterrey's 2016 innovation semester — the result of engineering and design merged to create intuitive interaction.

Smart Filter

LOOP's Smart Filter uses algorithms to make an automatic reduction of unwanted noises based on both amplitude and frequency of the signal. The wearable provides protection and portability while offering a comfortable and ergonomic experience.

Companion App

A Bluetooth companion app provides full control over the device.

  • Control — Switch between smart filter mode, active noise cancellation, or wireless music streaming
  • Calibrate — Customize filter settings based on user needs
  • Monitor — Track battery level and receive updates
